Meet Malaysian singles
DateInOz is operated from Malaysia. Malaysians, and people who want to meet Malaysians, can both use it. So can anyone else: the noticeboard is for adults worldwide. This page is about meeting without talking as if Malaysia were one suburb of Kuala Lumpur.
Languages
Bahasa Malaysia is the national language. English is common in cities, and many people also speak Mandarin, Tamil, or another language at home. Say which languages you want to date in. A profile that mocks how someone mixes languages is just rude.
Cities are not the same day out
The Klang Valley, Penang, Ipoh, Johor Bahru, Kuching, and Kota Kinabalu are different trips. Johor Bahru and Singapore are close on a map and separated by a border. If you can only meet on one side, say so before anyone books a bus.
Ask about the day
Ramadan, Friday prayers, family meals, and whether alcohol belongs in the evening vary by person. Ask what a comfortable first meeting looks like. A cafe or a mall in public is a normal answer. Do not treat someone’s religion or family as a puzzle to get around.
The site itself
Joining is free and messages are free. Display ads pay for the service. You must be 18. The legal drafts name Malaysia as the operator’s base, and the privacy notice is written for the Personal Data Protection Act 2010. Those drafts still need a lawyer before they are final. They are linked in the footer. This page does not claim how many Malaysian members are on the site.
